About Me

After +8 years working as a user experience designer in the tech industry, I decided to take a break from the hustle and travel the world.

I am currently starting my 3rd month traveling, having visited already Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Singapore, Indonesia, and now Japan, as part of this journey.

It has been an amazing experience so far, with ups and downs, but with one constant thing: the people I meet along the way make all the difference.

I am a curious person and I love to listen to others. I hope I can also have a positive impact on the people that cross my path.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my best friends has been an active part of the Couchsurfing community for a long time, both as a traveler and as a host. She shared her experiences with me and I also decided to try it out as it seems like a great way to connect to people outside of my bubble.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love music, movies & books. I go through phases, and my taste changes a lot through time.

Music
- Mostly into indie pop and rock, but listen to pretty much anything. I love going to concerts and I am lucky to have been able to attend quite a few. My main obsession at the moment is Still Woozy and Phoenix.

Movies
- I am into pretty much everything movie and tv series related, except action movies without a plot. Richard Linklater (Waking Life, Before Sunrise trilogy) is my all-time favorite director. The movie 13 going on 30 is my guilty pleasure.

Books
- Recently I got into chronicles and poetry, but overall I like thrillers and fiction where I can learn something about life, history, or a particular culture. Now that I am a full-time traveler, I am reading books by authors from the countries I am visiting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- Cook and bake plant-based recipes
- Have lively debates
- Practice Portuguese
- Be a partner for different activities
