I am honest, outgoing, peaceful, reliable, friendly and very open-minded.

I love playing guitar, like I love nothing in the world. I am very fearsome of arthritis in that regard. Oh did I say that I am probably the worst hypochondriac you'll ever meet. When I am not playing the guitar, I might be writing songs for myself or for my band, Territories. As a sport I like bouldering/ climbing atop things and seeing the world from above. I also enjoy being outdoors either hiking, cycling, or just throwing around a frisbee or kicking a ball.

I love languages and playing with them to create cringeworthy embarrassing puns. I enjoy reading books and all the other things that have text, but also watch movies and shows of all genres. I am a huge nerd, who can spend hours browsing the internet and its memes. I happen to get caught up reading interesting articles on wikipedia or lose track of time playing computer games more often than I care to admit. I am gladly distracted from them though!

Musically I enjoy fine tunes ranging from jazz and swing to indie/ alternative rock to metalcore to metal and crossovers. I am particularily fond of the Perth-based progressive metal/ rock band Karnivool. When nobody is looking, I like to expressively dance to any type of music.

I would like to get to know the people in a country, make new friends, form strong bonds across great distances and along with that get a different, local perspective. A new dimension from which to approach a problem.

In Australia a wild flying-fox climbed onto my arm during a storm when I held the branch still, that it tried to sleep on. It's not really something that I have had much to contribute to but it was amazing for me nonetheless.
