About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding my way around with all the sideways and sometimes also getting lost in the windings of the road or take a break somewhere inbetween...
ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Thandi.
I stay in Hamburg, Germany together with two friends; our flat is in walking distance to the Elbe and the Altona Railwaystation.
I am an outgoing openminded person who likes to laugh.
Though I am respectful and polite my humour can get a little harsh if I get to comfortable. Sorry for that:)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I only have one room but we will find a way for you to stay here! We can eigther share the room or I can stay with somewhere else.
For me it is important to not only give free accommodation, but to also share some time. I will try to find the time to show you around and introduce you to the places I like best here:)
If I can not host at the moment I am also happy to just meet up and share some time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CS is such a good idea and I love the phylosophy behind it.
I have only couchsurfed in India and Nepal so far and made partly really good experiences and those which were ok. I never made a bad experience so far. I hope it stays like that!
I have not hosted yet but looking forward to change that!
Interests
In my spare time I do Capoeira and I will try to start climbing soon.
I like outdooractivities which is not always easy in Hamburg.
I am interested in many things but I can be a little erratic:P
- capoeira
- walking
- rock climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen many different kinds of music for example the interprets "milky chance", "Zaz", "massive attack"...
I hardly ever read when I am not on holydays , I guess I am rather the movietype. (Inception, Barfuss, Bourn-Triology,...)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to see the sunrise on the Mt. Everest and the Himalayas close to Darjeeling.
I cycled through the jungle to be amazed by the temples of Angkor and rock-climbed in southern Thailand.
In nothern Namibia I looked at the stars in a village in the bush
