ABOUT ME
My name is Thang, but the 'H' is silent so its pronounced "Tang". I was born in Los Angeles but spent my childhood in Orlando, Florida. I love to travel and scuba dive where ever I go. I am working on becoming a scuba instructor as well. Camping, hiking, playing ukulele, and photography are a few things I do on my free time for fun. I'm pretty laid back and easy going.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not much of a philosopher but I was given the gift of life on earth so I figure why not see and do whatever you can while you can. The world is a big place and there is so much to do, see, and people to meet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couch surfing to meet others and learn about their culture and daily lives and get a true experience wherever I travel. At first I joined hoping that it would help with my travel expenses. It now has become much more than that and I have learned so much from the different people I have met a long the way.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just started couch surfing fairly recently. I have hosted a few fellow Couchsurfers as well while living in Hawaii. It has been a great experience so far as I have met some amazing people and learned some things things about/from them, their travel stories, their daily lives, and a little bit of their culture as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am pretty open to most genres of music. I do not have a particular favorite artist at the moment. The same goes for movies too. I do enjoy documentaries of a variety of subjects as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently the most amazing thing I've done was scuba diving with turtles and witnessing them fight over control over a cove. Very National Geographic.
