About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find myself and figure out this world.

ABOUT ME

I am an adventurous guy, I have no problem putting myself in new situations that more often then not lead to amazing experiences. In general, I am light-hearted and just looking for a laugh, but I realize where there are serious situations that deserve nothing but the utmost sincerity. I always try to put my best foot forward and will give my honest best to be a kind person to everyone I meet.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to learn what each new person and situation has to teach me.

Interests

I recently moved to Telluride, Colorado after graduating from college to live the outdoor dream. During the summer I love to bike, hike, backpack, camp and do whatever else I can to be out in mother nature's glory. And during the winter, it is all about hitting the slopes on my board. I am a bit of a home brewer and actually have a part time gig here as an assistant brewer in the brewpub here in Telluride. I love all kinds of music and have been a drummer since elementary school, playing in bands through today. And at the end of the day I like just hanging with good people with some good conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I was living in Alaska, working for a conservation organization, and I got to go with some coworkers on the most spectacular 5 day backpacking trip that took us over many alpine prairies, through saddles, skinny dipping in freezing lakes and laughing around a campfire. The sheer beauty of this place, from its steep slopes to its diverse and eye catching early fall colors, will always have a place in my mind as one of near perfection.
Another one has happened to me since I moved here to Colorado, called Kroger's Via Feratta. Basically, the Via, as it's often called for short, is an extreme hiking trail that takes you across 2 inch wide paths over a several hundred foot cliff face culminating with a careful walk across a set of metal staples that have been driven directly into the cliff face. At the end, there is nothing but less than an inch of steel and the abyss below. Intense stuff but so worth it. The scene is set in Telluride's beautiful box canyon with it's massive rock walls, a place that I am so thankful to get to live in every day.
