ABOUT ME
I've always been a rather nomadic spirit and cultural diversity has fascinated me ever since I was a child. You can say I'm a positive and easy going character, immensely curious and respectful.
PHILOSOPHY
Trust life and warmly smile at her, she'll always pay you back :) Respect all other life forms, do what you enjoy, enjoy what you do, and, borrowed from my mother: "If you have a problem and your problem has a solution, so, why should you worry? And, if your problem has no solution... so, why should you worry?????" :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I signed up to CS as soon as I knew it existed, because I totally think it's a great project. I've always enjoyed to meet travellers and share with them the cities I love and live in (mostly Mexico City, Montreal and Hanoi), along with my family and friends, the people, culture, and nature of the place, etc.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In my family, hosting travellers has been a very usual activity. Thus, for several years there has been a large informal network of couch surfers around me, who have hosted me in different parts of the world or that I have hosted. CS simply confirms and feeds my belief that the world is so small after all and that we are all somehow linked, interested in each other and ready to help each other...
Interests
mmmh... I'm interested in many, many things :)
Human nature, to start. Arts. Food!!! I love cooking, I love to eat, I love to feed others. I'm very interested in the impact our food choices can have in our bodies, our societies, our environment... I also strongly care about preservation of natural and cultural diversity everywhere in the world, and witnessing first-hand different expressions of this diversity is one of my main motivations for traveling. I love to take time to explore a new universe and slowly adapt to it. To walk, to observe, to make contact with people, to assimilate their particularities, to try new things, to accept and understand. I love to learn about others and am always ready for chatting and exchanging different points of view with people. I also love nature and outdoors activities, like cycling, hiking, climbing, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
I appreciate works respectful of their audience's intelligence, but other than that I'm very open to variety. I'm a compulsive reader (a serious case...) of anything from children's literature to novels to obscure academic essays, I enjoy movies with meaningful stories and/or beautiful photography, I love to go to all kinds of performing arts staging: dance, music, theatre, multimedia shows, etc., and sometimes I even go to museums :P
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Live :) And enjoy love, sky, sun, moon, earth.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learning is one of my passions and sharing comes naturally with it. For some years, I've been presenting workshops of eco-ideas I'm always ready to share. And the next subjects in the list of things I want to learn or improve is hair-cutting, drawing and painting, photography and natural medicine and massages. I enjoy both learning and teaching languages, cooking (Mexican, Italian, French, vegetarian fusion... :P), dancing, as well as sharing music, literature, life experiences, opinions and thoughts.
