I'm Thao Thao from Vietnam. I've lived in Vietnam, Singapore, India and currently based at Nairobi, Kenya.

Well, why am I here on Couchsurfing?

One day I woke up in my apartment in Singapore and realized that I was such a loser. At that time I had a prestigious job, a charming boyfriend and many connections in my network circle. I was speaker of many youth conferences. I was running an organization of 50 people at the age of 20. And still, I asked myself if I had everything, why happiness felt so wrong. I didnt know who I am, what I want and where I belong to. And there was one thing stuck in my mind: How could you create positive values when all the things you could think of is your own depression?

On that day, I decided to quit my job, re-arrange my life and pursue my wildest dreams.
I backpacked in Southeast Asia, moved to India and now exploring Africa starting with Kenya.

On my way travelling and living abroad, I have met so many amazing people. They have shared with me their stories, offered a warm hand when I need most and taught me how to live. I'm truly deeply completely grateful for that.
So, let's meet. We can be a big part of others' life and maybe we don't even know that.
