I'm 21 years old Vietnamese university student, currently living in the UK but borned in Czech Republic. Sounds quite complicated but isn't. My main programme of studying is Tourism and Hospitality. I love traveling, exploring new destinations althought money is the biggest problem. I've visited few places in my home country, the UK and Europe. I spent July and August 2017 in South Korea volunteering in a guest house and in free time I have visited as much places as possible. In Seoul, Korea I tried for the first time Couchsurfing and my host was the nicest guy I have ever met. He showed me the city and we also ate a lot in restaurant and just had fun exchanging our culture habits and so on.

Beside traveling I like to learn languages. My another goal is to speak Korean and Chinese fluently. Reasons why I decided for these language is passion for Asian countries, influence of anime, kpop, dramas and FOOD!

I'm a big dreamer who finally decided to realize own dreams to come true and that's why I'm studying in the UK, went to Korea in 2017 and now I’m starting a “new chapter” of my life in London.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It’s a good way how to meet new people in new city while traveling, to hear their story, get tips from them, etc. I've met few people thanks to traveling and it was an unforgetable moment for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to rock, kpop but also pop. My favourite interpreters are Skillet, Three Days Grace, BTS, SHINee, EXO, Charlie Puth, Sia, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber (but only his latest songs), Adele, Shawn Mendes.

I prefer comedy movies than horrors. And I love fairytales and yes I’m 21, haha. I’m also a big fan of anime and j-drama/k-drama.

Books: Novels from Colleen Hoover, Lauren DeStefano, any fantasy or sci-fi books.

I've decided to study abroad which was my biggest step in my life and decided to travel to Korea instead of dreaming of it.
