Hi everyone!!

I am Thao Nguyen and I am from Vietnam. I extremely love travelling, talking with people I met and exploring the culture I have not known.

What about my characteristics? Uhmmm!! I see myself as a nimble, positive, open-minded and caring person. Everything in our planet has its own beauty and there are tons of time they charmed my heart. I love art, doing handmade stuff. Traditional art always has a big attraction for me as I believe that it is a part of a country' soul.

I am a minimalist person, which means I want to make life to be simple. "Buy less, travel more" is my favourite quote. It is not only have positive impact to myself but also reduce the negative effects to the environment.

I have an eager to move, to travel and to make friends coming from different countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a mentioned above, I love connecting with people who are come from different places. There are tons of stories I am eager to hear, tons of thing that I want to learn from them.
I used to take part in some volunteer programs with international young people during the time at university and they were always amazed me with their stories, kindness and perspective. It is the reason why I want to live with local people when I travel.
For me, the world is my home. "Where you so, go with all heart"

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIE
I extremely love cartoons. Ghibli, Pixar Disney movies are always my favourite. Even though I am quite old to see that kind of movies but I just simply love it hahaha

- Howl's moving castle
- Finding Dory
- Finding Nemo
- All the cartoons of Pixar
Marvel movies are also in my favourite list.

BOOKS
I am a bookaholic. I almost read book everyday. I read several kind of book, like fiction, history book, science, economics, travel, self-help, mindset, skills, culture, biography,etc.
If I have to pick some of the books I like most. They should be:
- Harry Potter series. I am a big fan of Harry Potter.
- Shoe Dog
- "Quảy gánh băng đồng ra thế giới". This is the book of Vietnamese author. It's about her perspective about countries she had come to work and travel. The book has motivated me to step out of my comfort zone, to open to the world and to become a global citizen.

MUSIC
I extremely love classical music. I love listening to Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and Chopin. I also have a tendency to learn piano some day. The artist I admire most are Yo-Yo Ma, a cellist and Yiruma, a pianist.
I also like US-UK music. Ed Sheeran and Adele are two singer I listen to most.
