About Me
Hi / Xin chao,
I am Thao, a local person in Hanoi, was born, grew up and has been living here for so many years :), a small person having high energy.
I am an office worker for more than 20 years for foreign companies in Vietnam, hence, I have the opportunity to practise English and gain a diverse perspective of the world.
Currently I am busy at work, only able to organize my event at weekends. If you need a food list or where to go in Hanoi, contact me.
Learning and sharing, that really inspires me everyday.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Spreading the peace, love and kindness to couchsurfers to Vietnam, leaving warm hearted feelings to put our mind at ease.
Meeting people, hearing your stories, doing something new each week so life is more exciting, sharing places to visit in Hanoi and Vietnam and also food to eat.
Furthermore, I want to share the knowledge on local life, culture in Vietnam, the impact from China since 1st century up to now, the French intervention within 100 years, the war with the US and finally the border conflict with Chinese in 1979. I will show you how Vietnamese people love to communicate, smile and talk to you along the way as we walk around.
