About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover yourself and discover the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm Thomas, 29 years old and I lived in Schiedam, close to Rotterdam. I finished my studie Mechanical Engineering a couple of years ago and decided to go travelling together with my lovely girlfriend Céline (25) around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Discover the world and discover yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because meeting people from different countries and so different cultures is interesting. That's also a reason why we're travelling atm, because we would like to see and feel different cultures.

Interests

Interest hmmmm, I have many interests.
I play volleybal and when the weather is good you can find me on my roadbike. Before that I played darts for many years.
I like being lazy at home but also go to a bar or disco, drink some beers and have fun.
And off course making travel video's. Currently we're travelling around the world, for video's see: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn22mG1LG08BTx3TfEd8kXA

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies a lot, music even more
My taste? Not specific one music genre. I like music in general.
Books, I hate them (Céline love them).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the time I travelled in Thailand I've done a hike of several hours and arrived at a village of the locals in the jungle of Thailand. We spend some time in that village. Looking around how those people live and later on sleep in this village on a wooden floor.
This was not my most restfull night, but it was an awesome one.
This was an experience I will never forget, something you won't do every day. It opened my eyes about other cultures. They have allmost nothing relative to my hometown, but live their life. They are not poor, but just live different.
