CURRENT MISSION
Explore new languages, new people, new cultures, and myself along the way.
ABOUT ME
My love for travel and new experiences took my by surprise. Growing up my family never took any big trips overseas, and the furthest I ever really got from home was North Carolina. I guess growing up not really knowing what travel is made me all the more excited about it. The first time I left the country was in summer 2010 to Hamburg, Germany to visit an old exchange student, and since then I've never looked back. During my senior year of high school I hosted a student from Le Mans, France and made my first trip to France later that year. It was then that I decided to go to Franklin University Switzerland to get my bachelors.
Studying in Europe has given me the chance to travel all over the continent as far as my wallet will let me. I am blessed to have wonderful friends all over the world that help me take advantage of that opportunity as much as possible. My university also offers a once per semester professor-led travel to any number of locations ranging from Italy to Iceland to Istanbul. I am incredibly grateful, to say the least, for all that I have that has made it possible for me to explore and to grow over these next four years.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Looking forward to my first time staying with someone!
As a student, all I really have to offer is couch space in my shared dorm (myself and three other girls). I would be happy to take anyone visiting out for drinks if they're ever in Lugano. Send me a message!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've stayed with two lovely hosts, one in Seoul and one in Amsterdam. Looking forward to my next couchsurfing adventures!
I also have many friends here at school who have had successful experiences both hosting and traveling, and I've enjoyed participating in similar exchanges such as WorkAway and WWOOFing.

Algo increíble que he hecho
Kayaking in Singapore and camping in the Sahara Desert are probably tied for first.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I hope to teach French as a foreign language one day. Maybe I can get some practice teaching you if you'd like. : )
Above all, I would hope to learn about what it means for you to live in the city that you do. Share with me your life, your home, and what makes your city special to you.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I would be happy to bring gifts from Switzerland if you have any request for Swiss chocolate or wine :) Otherwise, I'm always willing to share interesting conversation over drinks or tea.
I understand perfectly well that CouchSurfing is not a check-in check-out free hotel service, and would never want to treat my hosts as such. Let me share my life and my travel with you if you are so kind as to share your home with me.
