ABOUT ME

I am a pretty easy going guy and I love to meet new people and new cultures. I spent about two years traveling around the world followed by a year volunteering with VSO in Namibia. This was a great place for me because it is very close to nature.
I am now back in Canada and just finished a Masters in Environmental Protection. I am living in the great little city of Victoria BC on Vancouver Island.

In the last few months I have had a baby boy which is pretty awesome but also means that I can't host as much as I would like to. Feel free to try me anyway and if I can't host there is always a chance we could meet up sometime.

I might be able to host one or two people if you give me plenty of notice. I don't get to chck my e-mail that often so let me know at least 1 week in advance if possible.

I met some great people worldwide through CS. My old CS profile is under the name Coupleofcanucks so if you want to check my other references please feel free. I am traveling solo now so I thought I would start a new profile as well.

Interests

Travel is the obvious one I guess. I love to play Ultimate frisbee, squash and hockey. Being in the great outdoors, diving, hiking, camping and hugging trees

I love almost any music, I just wish I could make some.
World Music, folk music, electronic, rock...

Gotta have books while traveling. Tom Robbins is one of my favorites at the moment, Irvine Welsh, and Douglas Copeland are good. I like to read a book set in which ever place I am traveling at the time.
