About Me
CURRENT MISSION: I want to know all the places I have always been thought about in knowing, trying to understand what each people likes and dislikes and trying to show and teach them all the things that I know from Brazil and the places I have already been in.
ABOUT ME: First of all, I am a Brazilian guy, 29 years old, economist, Master in International Relations and current doing my PhD. I'm a very easygoing person and I have a very positive energy. I had an erasmus life, studying Economics at University of Porto (Portugal), city where I was living in between Feb 2010 and Feb 2011. That's totally unforgetable and a particular time of my life, when I knew too much about cultures, the real meaning of friendship and at last myself.I really like to know people and talk to them, to know different cultures, to go out to dance and so on. That's why I guess Couchsurf is a good idea for me, because I can do all these things at the same time.I think I can learn more traveling as a surfer wherever I go than going by myself. Discover the cities with someone who lives there is more interesting, because I can know too much more. Besides, I can change many interesting experiences and I also can get new friends for my entire life that I can see another time, maybe in my home in Portugal or in Brazil. Fucking amazing!I guess that's it. My Facebook's profile is Thauan Santos (same here).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Been a member of Couchsurfing is something that makes you feel and think bigger than you used to do. You should be very open minded to accept and understand the other, even within the differences. Try to show everything to someone that you are still knowing, could be something hard for many. The same could happen on the other hand, when you are going to another place as a surfer. But if you are here in this community, you really should do that in a good way, I mean, doing your best. This is the key of the success. So you will be able to get some new (and good) friends.

When I host them in my house, I spend all the time I have showing them the most important and interesting places we have here. Moreover, I usually tell them about the story of the city (all that I know), telling them the typical foods and so on.
Sure if the surfer want to discover the city by themselves I will respect it, I mean, they can.
