Hey, we are Ronjey, Philip, Lawi, Felix, Muhabi, Hephzibah, Venus, Beraccah and Sarah. You could call us RPLFMHVBS for short. :p . We are a creative collective and we do all sorts of fun stuff in support of each others personal, spiritual and professional pursuits.

Ronjey's our rockstar. His spirit, his vibes, his look, is our motto manifested into a man. :)
Phil's the trapper (be warned; you will be trapped. it happens. it's not your fault. it's just phil)
Lawi's the bullet king. (also doodle king)
Muhabi's a real life Nubian princess. And, like, OUR FRIEND/SISTER/SOULMATE!!!! She's our gentle love. :)
Felix is like our Sherman. :) Our super fun, light giving agent. he's really helped our indoor garden come alive. :)
(Felix and Muhabi hold the fort down at the Sancturay farm in naivasha, aka Our second home. so if you're in naivasha and would love to feel the love down there, they are the perfect people to talk to. Ask them about thursday evening drum therapy)
Hephzibah's our life source. :) she envisioned a space of love and made our home become it. She is currently in france spreading her love out there :) but her spirit continues to drives us.
Venus is pretty much what her name implies: the universe manifested in a woman. She is super funny; stand up comedy status so the house always comes alive every time she simply breaths. We also use her beauty and appeal to sell stuff at the Eden Yard Market. :p
Beraccah is our lyrical genius and like, the commune's superstar. if you are lucky (like us; we're lucky enough to have this almost every night) you'll get to experience a jam sesh duet featuring muhabi, beraccah and their guitars. they spoil us. Also, Beraccah means blessings.
Finally, Sarah. yes, pretty much all the paintings you spot around at the commune are pieces by Sarah. Since hephzy left, Sarah's kind of taken on the mother hen role. without here we'd all be crazy artists but with her we're crazy, psychotic artists :p

we're a perfect kenyan coctail. We all come from different backgrounds but what makes us family is our love and support for one another. And... we're all creatives/artists so be ready for that kinda vibe. :)

That's a mouthful innit? haha, that's us. our home has a lot of energy; explosions of ideas; random jam sessions and hangout; family dinners and just good vibes all round. Oh, there's also a surprising amount of silence too. we respect the need and purpose of both environments.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

we've been hosting a lot of "unofficial" Couchsurfers ever since the commune came together so we thought; why not solidify this relationship :p . We love hosting and meeting people from all around the world (Kenya included) because it is so interestingly mind blowing exchanging experiences and perspectives, support and making new friends in the process. We believe in Ubuntu "i am because we are". This is our way of life and we would love to expose it to as many people as we can because coming together has changed our lives and more people should invest in community living. :)
