I love jazz, hip hop, drum and bass, soul, funk, folk, Cuban, blues, jungle, indie, reggae, classical, and even a bit of opera! Music is music.

I'm currently reading Square Haunting, which is incredibly inspirational! It's a biography about 5 amazing women who spent some of their most formative years living in the same square in London. I also read a lot of fiction; anything from Jeeves and Wooster to books by Tolkien, Penelope Lively, Daphne du Maurier, Thomas Hardy, Jane Austen, Patrick Hamilton, etc.

Saved a dog from euthanasia in South Korea, looked after her until she recovered from heartworm and then brought her back to her forever home in the UK with my family!

My life has been pretty varied, so I've got a background in biomedical science, public health, international development, teaching, community development, and lots of writing work thrown in. I'm studying Korean (gradually) and I'm pretty adept at vegan cooking and cheesemaking. I have lots to share and so much more to learn!
