We are a recently married, young couple travelling the world as a much needed break from our day-lives. So far we have been travelling for a 2.5 years and are about two-thirds through our journey.

We are originally Australian, but since travelling we sold everything we have so we could leave. So really now we aren't living anywhere except where our backpacks are.

In Australia Jon (28) is a fireman and a finance consultant, and Georgia (26) is a teacher, specialising in students with disabilities. We love life and love sharing our lives and experiences with others.

In Canada we were Airbnb hosts for the winter season and hosted some amazing people from around the world. We also have done a few Workaway woofing jobs around the world which has allowed us to travel for longer and meet more people. We are hoping to use CouchSurfing as another way of continuing our trip!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wife and I are travelling the world, and so far are about 2.5years into our trip. We love meeting people, and have always been told by others in hostels or in Airbnb apartments, that CouchSurfing is an awesome way to meet people and share stories. For us this is one of the most important aspects of travel!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We always talk about our hike to the top of the Harding Icefield in Alaska. It was one of the most majestic things we have seen! We are heading to Antarctica soon so that will probably be on here soon aswell!
