About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn through travels and adventures I never could have imagined.
ABOUT ME
After graduating from UF, I moved on up to New Hampshire for an AmeriCorps position where I coordinate nutrition and cooking classes for families at risk of hunger. I'm always one for new adventures, so moving up to NH seemed like a logical step. I've loved the past year getting to know New England and enjoying all the seasons because as a Floridian...we only have two. Thus, I've decided to stick it out here a little longer and at least stay in NH for another year because there is too much to see in just one year. I love cooking; cooking for people and cooking with people. It brings friends together and always makes people smile. I wish I could garden more, it's something I'm constandly working on and learning about. Other than cooking I love to swim, and bike, so I've taken up triathlons. It's a challenge that keeps me focused. I always look forward to adventure and try to keep things interesting even on a small AmeriCorps stipend.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't been able to surf yet! Luckily I have been able to simply surf on couches of friend's in different cities, but I hope to couchsurf soon. I look forward to meeting new people and seeing their town through their perspective.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was able to visit Panama twice while in college. While there I stayed in a tiny village on a hill with chickens running around everywhere and the children too. Spending time with the people there and making connections with them is something that I will always cherish.
