ABOUT ME

I'm a student on a budget trying to see a piece of the world before I get stuck in the daily grind. I was referred here by a few friends who successfully surfed through Asia and Europe this past year and became inspired.

I currently go to Wentworth Institute of Technology, aspiring to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I'm a very easy going, as well as outgoing person. I'm equally as happy on the dance floor as i am on my couch.

I thrive on great food and drinks, smoke a lot of mary-j, and love meeting new people. I'm really interested in Organic foods as well as sustainable living. I currently work for a hydrogen fuel cell company and hope that some day I will be able to improve the quality of life for thousands if not millions of people by engineering a greener future.

I've been attempting to see more of America in recent times and hotel fees are my limiting factor. Couchsurfing just seems like the best possible scenario for any trip.

I'd love to show people around my city, I've got a pretty good hold on where all the good food is as well as where the best drinks are. If you're on a budget i know most of the mom+pop shops where you can feast for less than 10$ too.

As far as night life goes, im friends with a few promoters for various bars/clubs in the downtown area so I'd happily show people a good time.

Music, Movies, and Books

huge fan of electronic music, more specifically Dubstep, Ragga, Drum and Bass, Breakbeat, downtempo, and nearly everything you don't hear on the radio or in the bars.

besides being an electronic junkie I thoroughly enjoy any musically talented performers. My tastes have ranged from people like Burial and Trentmoller to groups like Bonobo and Thievery Corporation. I have an appreciation for hip hop, r&b, jazz, reggaeton, blues, classical, and experimental. Basically if the music has the ability to make me want to move, I love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ultra Music Festival 2010 was quite jaw dropping, but as far as non materialistic amazement goes, Waking up on the beaches of Nassau to a rising sun was one of the most fulfilling sensations I can remember.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a Marijuana connoisseur, I really feel like there is a massive population of under-educated people in respects to marijuana and its history. I love exchanging ideas and viewpoints with anybody who wishes to do so. For or against the plant, I just appreciate the chance to hear your side of the story. More often than not, I debunk a lot of the myths surrounding the plant.
