Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Visiting my friend in Taiwan and traveling around the country.
ABOUT ME
I started traveling one year ago and it has become a life changing experience. I find myself in love with the discovery of new places and interactions with people from different cultures around the world. I have learned so much about myself along with making great new friends from all over the world. I consider myself honest, respectful, open minded, adventurous, considerate, funny and generally have a calming effect on people. I am introverted at times, social at other times and love great conversation, food and beers. My best friends and family stay very close to my heart and I am always willing to add to that list.
PHILOSOPHY
Continue to explore, live small and think big.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As a traveler I am always up for helping others out and feel you get what you give. Assisting around the house, cooking, cleaning and generally not being disruptive are some things I can do to help.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had some great experiences surfing both through the site and through random meetings. I met locals in northern Thailand who took me in and let me crash with them for a few days. I have also made some great friends backpacking who put me up in Melbourne for a couple of weeks until I got on my feet. Looking forward to meeting many more great people who are gracious enough to host me.
Interests
I enjoy new challenges and a mix of traveling and working as like a mix of scheduled life and wandering without boundaries. I love the outdoors, treking, camping, scuba diving and being in our natural environment. I grew up in the country so rural life will always feel like home. On the flip side I love the city with it's fast pace, new ideas, art, architecture, food and fusion of so many different cultures. I also play, create and consider music a huge part of my life which is something have stepped away from by traveling and now am eager to dive back into. I can't say enough about how traveling and meeting new people stimulates new ideas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going across Canada playing bass in a band was an unforgettable experience. In more recent time I was really taken with the hospitality and friendliness of all the people I met throughout Asia. Moments that stand out were jungle treking in Laos, Volunteering to teach English in rural Northern Thailand and scuba diving with octupus, sharks and turtles in the south.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach basic guitar chords. I have knowledge in the house and design field from my experience as a painter. I love learning and passing along whatever knowledge I have from observing and taking in the world.
