ABOUT ME

I am an energetic person who loves to get the most and give the most that I can out of each and every day. My wife Samantha and our daughter Gia are the loves of my life and the joy in my every day.

I own a roofing company in my hometown of Orillia, ON. I spend my days with some of the finest people I could imagine working with. I love my job, because of the work I do when I'm at home and the freedom it offers to be away from home. I am addicted to travel, whether it's around the world or a quick weekend getaway in the canoe.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had heard of CS before but never bothered joining until last year. I travel when I can, host when I can and enjoy helping others who are traveling in the area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed several couches...some of them on CS, some of them not. I love hanging out with different types of people, seeing old friends and making new ones.

Although CS is NOT a dating site, I happen to have met the love of my life, Samantha, through CS. She fills my life with joy and laughter each and every day. It doesn't happen to everyone, but it happened to me and I'm forever a better man for it. I just goes to show...for better or worse, be careful who you surf with!!

兴趣

Music: AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Green Day, Weezer, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews, most metal, very little country and even less rap....ok some rap is acceptable.
UPDDATE: I am in love with a girl from Iowa, which means I now like some country music.
FURTHER UPDATE: I am now married to this girl from Iowa and love country music more than ever. Ray Scott, Waylon Jennings, Kenny Chesney and Eric Church are some on my favourites.

Books: Anything by Robert Kiyosaki, or anything that coaches me on how to retire earlier.

Travel: Read above.

Camping: As part of my travel sickness, I'm also addicted to camping and trekking. Hit me on the right weekend in the summer and you can forget my couch, I'll take you paddling in Algonquin.

Damn...already covered that. Movies??...The Departed, The Boondock Saints, Goodfellas, anything mafia related, anything Tarantino. I know it doesn't really count as "movies" but I love stand-up comedy specials; Jerry Seinfeld, Louis CK, Chris Rock, Daniel Tosh.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A mission group I was part of fixed a well in a Nigerian village that hadn't worked in 8 years. It was amazing to watch the reaction of people who hadn't had access to fresh water for that long.
