Interests
My always-into- things are: books, environmental issues/ saving the planet, LGBTQA+, animal love/ vegetarianism, getting lost in my head, tea breaks, other breaks, feminism, activism, meeting people, freeganism, dumpster diving, hitchhiking, movies and tv shows, beer, feeling free, starting things and never finish them, slow and simple living/ traveling, ultralight backpacking, googleing stuff, languages, outdoor naps, history, world matters, trying to understand things, trees, board games, the human mind, and, of course, my lovely friends and other awesome people.
My sometimes-into- things are: agriculturing, clubbing, accomplishing stuff, writing, cultural/ musical events, being creative, running, hiking, studying.
In general I am up for anything, as long as it involves good company and (preferably) good conversations!
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Haruki Murakami, José Saramago, Tove Jansson, Jonas Gardell, Mikhail Bulgakov, Nick Hornby, Amos Oz, Douglas Coupland, Khaled Hosseini.
Movies: Han Solo for president!
TV shows: Flight of the Conchords, Arrested Development, Friends, Black Books, Big Bang Theory, the IT Crowd, the Office, Game of Thrones, Freaks and Geeks, Twin Peaks, Six Feet Under, Girls.
Music: Heartbeats by the Knife. Apart from that one, I am one of those really annoying people that find something I like and then listen to Only that song 200 times in a row before finally moving on to something else.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every day is a miracle.
Just kidding. No way I'd be able to pull off platitudes like that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love it if you could teach me something, but I'm not a good student so it's not very likely. I'm not such a great teacher either. But let's meet anyway and do something fun together!
(although I guess I could offer some tips and help about traveling/ living with no or very little money, with as little environmental impact as possible. I can also bore you to death about the freedom coming from a minimalistic way of traveling, and the awesomeness about having less than 3 kilos in your backpack for a whole year).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy sharing my terrible cooking skills and usually I manage pretty well to find the vacuum cleaner and/ or the bottle store.
