ABOUT ME

two normal non-serial killing females (just ignore the shallow graves in backyard). Have been Best mates since school days (16 years & counting) and now traveling the world together.

As there are two of us traveling and working around the world for the next couple of years using the hobo mansion profile, dont be surprised if you get a request saying "one half of the hobo mansion". It just means one of us can't get off work to come along :(

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

we'll endevour to provide a nice couch for fellow surfers to crash on and show you how we party Geraldton style (please bring a shank for your personal protection).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since leaving Australia I (Karis) have been all the way up the coast of Norway. From Oslo to Tromso; I travelled seeing raindeer races, Southern Lights and a wee bit of cold (Kirsty hates the cold so I went solo ). A quick skip to Svalbad for a jazz festival (and to find me a polar bear!) was the finish for the Norway trip. I was lucky enough to surf the entire way, meeting alot of great people and getting to know my Grandad's country.
Once kirsty was free from work in Australia, she joined me in London, where we flew to Germany to start our grand tour together CS style. We spent 1.5 months travelling through Germany meeting alot of cool people great enough to host us. From crazy/death-defying bike tours; to castles, medievil towns, Oktoberfest, lessons in history (etc) our German couchsurfing hosts kept us well entertained! After Germany it was Denmarks turn to experience the Hobos; where the welcoming warmth of CS was just as friendly and open! We spent a month criss-crossing Denmark & doing what would later be called 'The Redneck Tour', as most places we went even the tourist information ladies would ask us why we where there!?! (no joke :) But the CS'ers we met showed us the hidden fun of their towns to make it worth it.
Now we plan on checking out The Netherlands, Belgium , Switzerland & Italy in a 1.5 month sprint before work calls us back again. Look forward to seeing you!
