ABOUT ME

We are a couple who has decided to shake it up a bit and spend some time travelling the world! We love meeting new people, and are ready to let the winds take us where they may. We're starting with 6 months in South America and then we'll head East, towards Turkey, Jordan India.

We're getting past the wild party days of our more durable youth, and are most interested in sharing good conversation over a bottle of wine at home, or sampling local beer/coffee at a fantastic cafe rather than staying up at night at the clubs. We enjoy wandering around new places - be it city or country, sampling beer and local cuisine, and just enjoying being where we are.

You never really know what's around the next bend, so take your time and enjoy the ride.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are new to couchsurfing, but have friends (and friends of friends) who've had great experiences with this so we thought we'd give it a shot. We are open to hosting as long as we are home, as well as surfing for ourselves as we begin our travels around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a few unofficial hosting experiences over the years, hosting a few Australians, some South Africans, and a variety of Italians. At the time it was just meeting up with good people who were travelling and needed a place to crash. Each experience offered the possibility of new friendship, some of which have stuck for more than 10 years!

Intereses

We like to be outdoors, hiking, walking, camping, reading, taking pictures, or just feeling the sun on our skin. Photography and history are two of our biggest loves!
