About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To get a haircut and get a real job.
ABOUT ME
i've been back in Brisbane now for about 3 years after a 2 year working holiday in the UK and Ireland.
i live in a quintessential sharehouse in a uni suburb, with 5 others, and i work to live, not live to work. travel is the only thing that blows my skirt up, nothing beats the excitement of an unknown town or country.
PHILOSOPHY
i lived as a nomad for 2 and a half years to see the way people across the world live their lives, and what is important to people.
i've been back in my hometown for a while now. you can take the girl out of travelling, but you can't take the travelling out of the girl.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
umm, by telling everyone i know about this website, and the great personal experiences it has given me. i think word of mouth is important. i wrote an article for an employer's newsletter about how this website benefits live-in carers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
my first host, daniel_p took me on a ride on his motorbike around london at night... we passed the royal albert hall, hyde park and harrod's, which was all lit up like a christmas tree, beautiful!
colleen in marrakech took me hiking with her english students in the hills around tahannoute, it was a really unique experience.
amelia in shanghai soothed me with mexican food and 24-hr massage parlours.
esther led me into trendy pizza places in reykjavik.

crap, that's way more than one thing.
