Documenting my journey to San Francisco for the purpose of showing the world that we can still believe in each other!

ABOUT ME

My name is Scott, but I have been dubbed the Road Hawk by my friends and I like the ring of it so I go by it from time to time.

I have traveled the county extensively by way of hitch hiking and find the experience to be cleansing and almost spiritual. There is just something about putting yourself on the edge of everything and meeting the people willing to help the person doing that.

It helps that I'm a song-writer because it allows me to put my experiences and feelings into words and music.

I'v participated with several non-profit organizations and actually co-founded one for the purpose of creating sustainable housing for families living at poverty level. Unfortunately, it didn't meet it's goals and was dissolved,but I am still a huge supporter of community farms and self-sustainable housing and renewable energy sources.

This year I will be traveling to IN to visit my son there and then on to Nashville where I will plague the music publishers and open-mic shows in attempt to sell some of my songs for the purpose of funding my self-sustainable farm as a prototype of what I had proposed for the non-profit I co-created.

I am an easygoing personality and am by no means high-maintenance as a guest nor picky about sleeping arrangements. I have a tent and if need be I have no complaints about setting it up in the yard. :) I will also be bringing my guitar and if you're down I'd love to share some of my music with you. :)

PHILOSOPHY

We are the sacred care-takers of this world and not the heirs of a dwelling that can as easily be replaced.
I believe that the time of our divine purpose, to first heal the damage we have inflicted upon our eternally patient mother and then train ourselves and our children how to live in harmony with her is upon us. We are the only living things on the entire planet who are capable of instituting a change in our planets ecology. This can only be accomplished with a true and deep down love and appreciation for the planet we have been so richly blessed with to exist and experience this miracle of life, love, friendship, fun, and adventure upon.

I tell everyone I know about the CS project because it has been such a wonderful tool in meeting real people with real ideas. People who are not afraid of other human beings.

I have received nothing but love and the benefit of the doubt. To me, both are sacred blessings from the Divine.
