ABOUT ME

Ya hoo!

PHILOSOPHY

Instead of always saying "I will change this later/I will do this tomorrow", find some motivation and really fight for what you want. Otherwise so many good things are going to passby without us even realising it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the past I have hosted a few people, and have enjoyed doing so. At the moment, I don't have any room but I do however, have time, so would be more than happy to meet up with someone for the day/night and help where I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had nothing but good experiences through CS - I have hosted some really lovely people, and even with a language barrier, we still had a lot of fun. I'm now looking forward to actually being a surfer instead of a host, which should be equally enjoyable!

Sometimes you do get a few strange emails... but it does give you a reason to have a smile on your face afterwards.

Interests

My biggest passion, without a doubt, is food. Even if the result is bad, the time spent creating it with someone is always entertaining!

I also enjoy music, dancing, travelling (naturally!) and I'm getting more into sport so that I can become fit and healthy! Learning new languages is also fasinating!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:- Muse, The Hives, Calvin Harris, The Presets, Amy Winehouse.. (although lately my guilty pleasure is K/Jpop...shhhhhh!)

Books:- The Riftwar Saga, Obernewtyn Chronicles, The Milennium trilogy, the Mistborn series .. also trying to conquer the Wheel of time extended series..

Tv shows: Dexter, The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh, Daria, KareKano, Sailor Moon, Hana Yori Dango, Coffee Prince (seriously, this show was amazing)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done was to backpack around Europe for a while by myself. This broke down so many worries and concerns that I had.. I had not one bad experience, and was able to not only do things that I had no idea I was able to, but to meet the most incredible people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always open to learning about other cultures and languages - I find these things so profoundly facinating. And naturally food :-)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cambodia, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Laos, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
