ABOUT ME

I've been travelling since I was a baby. I travelled with my parents between Germany and India and now live in London. Whilst I somehow long for a quiet more settled lifestyle at some point in my life, I'm certainly not there yet! I want to see and experience places, especially countries where Spanish and French are spoken.

PHILOSOPHY

I honestly can't say. I think that this is a personal affair that takes many years to form and keeps changing. But to give you an idea, I believe in mutual respect, dialogue, and peaceful interaction and an incredible and largely untapped human potential for greatness (as individuals and groups). I will never claim to defend absolute truths.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am participating by being an active member of the community and by giving the best of me. I want to help build a community of friendly down to earth people.

兴趣

My interests are very varied but mainly cultural and social. I enjoy listening to and playing music, especially jazz and latin music. I also enjoy outdoor sports such as canoeing and hiking. I find almost anything enjoyable when in good company, for example good food, travelling, the cinema, dancing, sports and games.

Movies: The Breakfast Club, Motorcycle diaries, Bend it like Beckham
Music: salsa, jazz latino, reggae, some rock, pop and R&B. Anything I can move to that is 'musical' and played my real musicians.
Books: Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Le Petit Prince, 1984, I wish I had more time to read for fun.

I'd like to know more about the process of recycling plastic. Is it costly? Does it use a lot of energy? How significant is the pollution caused by air traffic? Should we have a guilty consience because of low cost flights - even if this makes the world more open and acessible to all?
