About Me

Hiya and welcome to you who are reading my profile! :)

I'm a French girl, currently taking a Gap Year to travel around and discover more about the incredible world I live in and meet interesting people and maybe even make new friends before starting studies of physiotherapy in Ireland (fingers crossed guys)!

I'm vegan, I don't eat sugars and I love cooking (especially Italian food) and trying new recipes! (though I can be lazy when I have to cook just for me)
I consider myself an eco-friendly/conscious young woman, as I'm always trying to improve myself and my lifestyle, learn new things and change my habits in order to be the best human being I can and be respectful of the environment and all the living things on this planet.
Also, I don't smoke, drink alcohol or coffee and I don't do drugs.
That being said, I like to think that I am not a boring girl but an interesting one who loves laughing, dancing, singing, talking (a lot), partying (sometimes) and making new friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my opinion it is the best way to travel, cause to me travelling is all about discovering new places but also and especially new people, learning about one's culture, traditions and experiences and making new friends along the way! That's how you get to open your mind and live the experience fully!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am quite open when it comes to books, movies and musics, I love discovering new things and I've got very varied tastes!

Though I can say that I am quite a fan of Queen and I really enjoy old songs as well as new ones, and appreciate all style of music like jazz, pop, rap, rock, classical music, electro... as long as the music and/or the lyrics are good I'll surely like it!

Also, I'm a Harry Potter & Fantastic Beasts fan, I love Disney & Pixar movies but also movies like "Hunger Games", "Okja", "Pride and Prejudice", "Et au milieu coule une rivière", the "Batman" by Nolan, Marvel movies, and old French ones with Louis de Funès, I'm a huge fan! (this list is definitely not exhaustive)

I love Game of Thrones too (like many people?) but also other series like "Las Chicas del Cable", "Outlander", "Peaky Blinders", "Reign", "Stranger things", "Friends", "Gotham"...

And I'm a kind of "book-eater" and I enjoy reading super different things, I don't stick to one genre, as long as the story (fictional or not) and the style of writing are good I'm happy.
Though at the moment I'm reading "The beauty myth", "a Game of Thrones (n°2) and recently finished reading "the Little Prince" for the second time in my life.
But there is a book that really marked my mind and my soul, it's "Le Cœur cousu", I don't really know why, it just took my heart and kept it for itself, so I plan to read it again soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 2 weeks traveling with my dad across Nothern Europe by train this summer, it was awesome, I definitely have life long memories of this trip!

EDIT : I spent 3 months in Ireland, visiting universities, meeting people, working in a stud farm, then in a family and spending Christmas time in Northern Ireland with them!

EDIT 2 : I'm currently backpacking around Spain and it's been AMAZING and incredibly intense so far! :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cultural exchanges, acquiring knowledge and sharing experiences (one of my motto is "never stop learning" and "never stop growing and evolving").
Also, I could give you simple (but tasty) vegan recipes, teach you some French and also how to be more "eco-friendly" and respectful of the planet and the people :)
Oh and I can share my "joie de vivre" and my happiness!
