Hello everybody!
My Name is Thea and my hometown is Hamburg in Germany!
BUT I moved to BERLIN 5 years ago with my boyfriend for studying engineering ! I recently finished my bachelor and will start the master after some travelling by bike through Spain ☀️🚲
I am 25 years old and love - I know everyone is saying that - nothing more than travelling! Two years ago I did Interrail for the first time and it was just great! We went up to Norway and down to Portugal by train 🚂
Last year a friend was giving us his Van for some weeks and I was able to experience this latest vanlife trend. What should I say, it really is amazing!
The year after school I was traveling the world with four friends of mine. We've been to Malaysia, Thailand, New Zealand and Australia! ☀️🌴👋🏼
I hope there are a lot more cultures, natur, monuments, people, places.. I can visit in the future! I am so thankful for every new impression and lesson travelling is giving and teaching me 🥲

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I would like to travel the world and I don't want to see just the tourist guide kind of places but the really special places, which are only known by locals. In Hamburg for example you can go on the rooftops of the so called "Speicherstadt", old silos on the sides of small sewers to see an amazing sunset 🌇

Interests

I am dancing ballet since I have been 10 years old. I am not only loving ballet but any kind of dance! I also enjoy reading good books, going out for a drink, visiting new places and have some good food to eat.. I love to cook and try new recipes from all over the world! When I did an Erasmus in Lithuania we had an international dinner with food from more than 15 different countries 🥘🍱🍤

By partying I like to hear melodic house/deep house/electric, but my mp3-player is full of The Beatles and Cat Stevens, classical music and Gary Jules.. 🎶

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an amazing Interrail-journey for two months and during that I have been to 8 countries and 7 capital cities 🚂🚃🚃🚃💨

In school I learned Russian and English and would really like to improve both! In university I started to learn French and I just love the language! I am trying to improve it by using the app Duolingo 🦜
