I am a very outgoing and curious person, who loves to travel and explore different cities and meet new people. I currently work for a local design firm in Winnipeg as an architectural assistant. My goal is go back to university to continue my studies in architecture and urbanism, and to study abroad. My partner and I rent part of a mansion in Winnipeg, in a really cool and central neighbourhood. We have lots of space and would be happy to meet people who are passing through Winnipeg by hosting them at our place and showing them around the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since finishing my undergrad in 2016, travelling hasn't necessarily been easy. It's expensive and tough to take time off of work when you're in the midst of paying back student debt. That said, traveling has always been really important to me and I try to force myself to go somewhere special at least once a year. Couch surfing is offers explorers an affordable option in traveling, and is a great way to meet new people. Similar to the culture of AirBNB, its nice to meet local people who have a thorough understanding of the place you're visiting. As much as I love to travel, I also love my city and I love to show it to people! When the opportunity arises, I would be grateful to host someone in my home and share my experiences of Winnipeg.
