Hi I'm Thea, 25 years old.
Currently I'm doing an ERASMUS semester in Constanta, Romania.
After my school education I spend 11 month in Panama, living in a host family and working in a kindergarden.
Besides that I visited some more contries mostly with family for some days.

I like it to be out at sea for days and weeks working on merchant ships and traditional sailing ships. Sailing into a new country is really exciting. Sadly there's not so much time to also learn about the culture of the country, but that's why I'm also travelling on Land :)

I really love to dive deep into the culture of a country, so I'm very interested in stories of the country and the people. Cause living and learning on this planet is truly wonderful to me. I try to meditate frequently and practice mindfulness.

I live vegetarian. I don't smoke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most of my free (or working) time I'm sailing on tall ships and merchant ships. But I also travel to new counties on the landway. I wanna meet new people from the countries where I'm currently travelling and I'm open to long evening talks, walks, cooking fun or other stuff :)

It changes from time to time: I'm interested in biographies, travel experiences, fantasy, thrillers, scientific books.
I have not so much knowledge about music, but I love musicals, feminist creators and dancing in german techno clubs :D
