About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To infinity & beyond!
ABOUT ME
I'm a recent transplant to the West, but I love it out here. Beautiful summers, lush forests, and a city full of great music, wild adventures, and interesting people. I live in a coop with eight other awesome people. We cook massive amounts of food and it's a great time.
During the school year I spend a lot of my time cocooned in the library, but when I can get out I build tall bikes and explore the Pacific Northwest.
Growing up, I used to run through corn fields and Midwestern thunderstorms. I still miss the thunderstorms, but running along the cliffs of the Oregon coast at sunset definitely beats cornfields.
PHILOSOPHY
Still working on this one.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hopefully I'll be able to host surfers eventually.
For now, surfing myself and helping Portland surfers out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet. Hopefully many to come soon!
Interests
Learning how to kayak has been my new project this year. Hopefully I'll be able to guide for a summer or two, who knows? I love all kinds of exploration - running, rock climbing, scuba diving, back packing snowboarding, reading...
I picked up home brewing from a club at my school, and I've found out that making really cool beers is one of the best ways ever to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Cooking! Yum.
