I'm a poet. That means...well, I'm figuring that out. It has something to do with connection, communication, and feeling. So, I'm a poet.

ABOUT ME

I'm sitting at a wooden table, and I feel uncomfortable putting my large bavarian beer mug on the exposed wood, so I put it on a book, an easy German Krimi made for beginner speakers and readers.

I'm uploading photos from my last trip: 5 weeks in Germany. I traveled with my lady friend, Dani. She's pretty cool.

I enjoy my items: the pilot fountain pen - tangerine - that my dad gave me, the italien leather journal with marbled paper from florence the gift's counterpart.

My camera, my camera, is awesome.

I like books almost as much as I like the stories.

Words are special, and humans are special. I'm glad we're here; but, alas, we have problems. How do we problem solve? We can only do so much, even when together. Artists: we find alternatives and, sometimes, solutions. Be true.

We are here. Actually. In this space. Now what? I want to connect, and I want to enjoy. And you, too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I write and relate. I need to practice relaxing, and travel and good people with whom I connect aid in that practice. It's linked with my other practice: enjoyment.

I love Orange Juice (it deserves to be capitalized, it's that good).
Beer is a close second, especially Weißbier (I <3 Bavaria).

When I notice my hand on the lever of the machine, I take it off. That's usually when I get to pay attention to the weather, the sound of the air, peoples' moods, the temperature, and the people in their lives.

We're all just here. Now what?

I want to enjoy. And I want to encourage that.

Do what you enjoy. You'll do it better, and feel good about it. And that'll be your gift. We just need to trust... and to have some encouragement.

We are social animals. Touch your loved ones well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

South Island of New Zealand yielded lots of good stories, pancakes, a massage, a Disney film, charadés, and a large bald man with a standup bass.

Berlin was, at first, a little distant, but after some morning conversations and a nice evening of beer and card tricks, and the whole WG has now become postcard buddies. Good people.

Centres d'intérêt

I like outside. I love animals. Camping, starts, fire, I can hardly come to a body of water without jumping in (often naked... I prefer naked). I like reading and writing, especially out loud. Movies are swell. My camera, my camera, I love. I like eating, smoking, talking, drinking, pissing, craping, walkings, running, reading, and I hate all of these things sometimes too...but much less than enjoy.
