ABOUT ME

We are two French women travelling for 2 years. We try to enjoy life as much as possible, love discovering new people and different cultures.

In France, Celine lives in the South, in St Raphael and Manue is Paris.

PHILOSOPHY

We have to live our life enjoying every single moment the most! We don't want to be dependant of any material things, we just want to be free and do what we truly want while respecting the others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, we are not home, but we have family in Bordeaux who can host couch surfers. Once we’ll be back to France, we hope welcoming ourselves the persons we met and new CSers !!!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our CS experiences were absolutely great!! We were pretty amazed by the generosity and hospitality of our hosts. It’s so nice to stay with local people and discover their city with them.

Interests

Travelling (of course :)), cooking, dancing salsa, doing yoga and tasting a good glass of wine (especially when we are in France ;)) !

Music, Movies, and Books

We love watching a good movie, well a good movie can be different for everybody. We like very different movies like American Beauty, Moulin Rouge, Butterfly Effect, Into the Wild, etc. When it comes to music, we listen to almost everyting - with exception of trance and rap... We love Radioheads, Buena Vista Social Club, Katie Melua, Cocorosie, ....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that the fact to leave our country and to take two years off to travel around the world was the most amazing thing we have done in our life. Now, we are very happy to have lived our dream and to have created a wonderful friendship link between us.
Otherwise, to hug a sea lion in Namibia, to do the bungee jumping in Zambia, to trek in a village in Lao where people had never seen western people before or to volunter in Mother Teresa intitue in Kolkata were really different but incredible experiences !

Teach, Learn, Share

We can share some things like cooking French meals (crepes ? ;)), teaching French langage, explaining many things about many countries we were, playing with fire pois for the most courageous :) !We would like to learn about new cultures. We are very curious about everything new and different.
