After a 2.5 year hiatus I am ready and able to take in guests again!!!!

ABOUT ME

I have lived all over the US. I grew up in Memphis and left when I was 18. From there I went to Texas, then Las Vegas, LA, San Francisco briefly, then back to Texas. I recently moved from Asheville, NC to the DC area. I LOVE IT HERE!!! So much to see and do, and most of it is FREE! I love to travel and I am dying to go back to Europe. I am currently working on a degree in social work and would love at some point, to actually live overseas.

PHILOSOPHY

Hmmmmm. I can't think of any personal philosophy that I have. Life is constantly changing for me, its hard to pinpoint any one philosophy that I have, other than knowing that life is a constant change. Everything is temporary.

I read a lot, obviously I love to travel. I love trying new food and wine. Very interested in different cultures, religions, etc.

Right now I am a Game of Thrones addict! There are so many binge worthy shows I love besides GOT; Breaking Bad, Shameless, Sex and the City, Girls....
So many movies. True Romance, Harold and Maude, American Beauty, Boogie Nights, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I am a documentary junkie as well. Really there are so many its hard to narrow it down. As far as music goes, I am a big jazz fanatic. Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane. I love classical, rock, opera, as well. Again, too many genres and musical artists that I love to be able to narrow it down. Books, same thing. I read a lot and a lot of different things.

Well I don't know if this qualifies but I met the President recently. He came up to me and I said, "This is cooler than when I met Mick Jagger!" and Obama replied, "You're getting a hug for that", so yes the president hugged me because meeting him was cooler than when I met Mick Jagger...and yes, I have met Mick Jagger;-)

I have also made Morgan Freeman a martini (Grey Goose on the rocks with a twist of lemon;-)

Well, I know a great deal about different types of religions and this is just from my own studies. I am currently in school full time working on a masters degree in social work. Before that I was working for a non profit.

I am also an experienced bartender so I can make you a mean martini;-)

I live near the Metro and can help with getting around the DC area, what there is to do, etc. I am about 25 mins via metro to DC. Best location around!
