Down-to-earth, wandering spirit with a passion for traveling lightly, consciously, & embracing any experience that unfolds itself. Full of smiles & love meeting people from all around the world :)
PHILOSOPHY
Everything is an opportunity. We do not have to view anything in a negative light, ever; only thoughts and perspective make it so. Everything simply is... And in that simple existence, there is an always openness and possibility. :)
I believe in giving without expectation, loving unconditionally, and creating something as much as possible -whether that be through dance, singing, a weird phrase, art, cooking, anything. I try to experience something new every day :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I'm home, I have a space or two to share. One to four (or maybe more) people welcome!
When I'm on the road, I'm a pretty mean cook and have a lot of crazy stories to share. :) I also love helping out with anything, getting my hands dirty farming or building things. I'm open to all foods, every experience I've run across, and very diverse types of people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Random playlists I've made... https://soundcloud.com/barefootprint/sets
Nearly all genres of music :) So many books as well, but two favorites are Ishmael and Spell of the Sensuous. Paulo Coelho & Eckhart Tolle are also amazing writers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After studying in Indonesia, I spent two months exploring Bali and Java by motorbike, stringing up a hammock somewhere new every night, meeting incredible locals who practice couchsurfing without ever having heard of it --actually they tried to give me their only bed sometimes!
Thailand was probably my second most amazing experience because I broke my back there on Christmas night in Koh Phi Phi, but I kept traveling for over another month through the rest of Thailand and Laos, learning my strength and realizing everything is just opportunity to grow.
Also just recently finished an 11,000-mile road trip across the US, through 15 states and 12 national parks for three seasons. My favorite part was an eight-day trek along the Teton Crest Trail, where seeing glaciers in August amazed me, befriended a grizzly the last day, and descended Paintbrush Divide (3270m) completely by starlight. :)
Update :) - - Traveled through India for six months alone in 2014, completed my yoga teacher certification, hitch hiked through Spiti Valley... incredible stories to share!
