ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Dilek (my foreign friends call me Dilly). I'm Multi-instrumentalist, have played at a few bands & hung around with buskers so far. I have graduated in History from the University of Yeditepe in Istanbul, Turkey. I have a fantastic Erasmus experience at Bologna University, Italy. Currently, I'm doing my Master's Degree in Visual Arts at Bologna University. So, I'm both musician and art historian.

Besides the history of art, I'm also interested in history of music. My aim is to become an academic, and I keep on studying. I also like photography, travelling, and sports, especially football(soccer) & tennis. Şampiyon Fenerbahçe ulan!!! :d

My favourite genres are Rock'n'Roll, 60's Classic Rock & 70's Hard Rock. I like Indie Rock, too. I love to play & sing these genres and make jam session with my friends, or any other buskers around. I can play many instruments, but basically piano and all type of guitars.

In short, it's always great to meet people and different cultures all around the world. I'm so glad that I've met many great people so far thanks to Couchsurfing.
