I love Jesus, I love life. Life is an incredible blessing and I try to make the most of it both by throwing myself into radically new experiences but also seeing the beauty in every day life. I am most at home in nature. You'll find me open minded, enthusiastic and down to earth.

Here is life, an experiment to a great extent untried by me.

PHILOSOPHY

I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by conscious endeavor.... I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.... I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life.

Life is what you make it. Make it big. Make it beautiful. Step outside of societies influence, dare to dream, choose the life you want to live and seize it, unencumbered by societal expectations, norms and arbitrary ideals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Summer of '10 I met up with my brother in London and we backpack from couch to couch in Paris, Rome and Barcelona; it was phenomenal experience. It was my first experience with CS and it opened my eyes both to the opportunities available to me and to the to value of meeting and forming relationship with hosts in the cities I travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

All types music have their time and place, but I most listen to progressive electronica, electro-soul and worship music.

Walden, by Thoreau, has been more inspiration and influential than anything else in my life, excepting the Bible. Whitman's Song of Myself has also been deeply influential, fundamentally shaping my perception of how I experience life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Twice I've backpacked the 11 mile Kalalau trail in Kauai through the mountains on the Napali coast and camped and survived on the beach at the far end.
