Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is such a wonderful community. We feel very proud to offer up our house and help people love Houston the way we do. We also think this is the perfect way to really learn different cities we might travel and look forward to traveling to in the future. We love people and want to be apart of good connections and positive ideas like couchsurfing. One love one people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My husband and I are very excited about meeting new people and cultures. We love to have people in our house, so this was only natural for us to host people. We look forward to more and more couchsurfing experiences. We are also very excited about discovering new places ourselves.

Interests

Our favorite things include live music, inde films, documentaries, politics, museums, theater, good friends, yummy food and any thing that really expands the mind. Shaun and I love to be outdoors. We often are at the river and love to bike ride around town. We are always trying to discover new things that this world of ours has to offer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The largest organic herb farm in the US, Jazz Fest in NOLA...every year is amazing, Big Sur, even the simplest of sitting on a surf board for the first time looking back onto the land covered in rain forest.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Shaun owns a record label, so music is a big part of our lives. We often have fun events we are putting on, so if you catch it right, then you can join in on the fun. Sara has her degree in nutrition and is an herbalist and works in the natural health food industry. She is happy to geek out on herbs and plant talk.
