About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To taste cuisine from EVERY part of the world.

ABOUT ME

I was born in the snowy times in Salt Lake City, UT, but grew up in the hin-dicky town called "Forks" which at the time was referenced as a "don't-blink-town," meaning, if you blink you miss it.

I moved to France in 2010, in order to get my Masters in Business Administration and moved back to Portland in 2013. It's been a wild ride, but now, with my Partner by my side, things have settled down. We try our best to experience life to the fullest.

PHILOSOPHY

Live like you are going to die tomorrow, never live with regret and remember that you should never make decisions based off of fear.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to connect with people around the country with this, as we are big travelers.

I love sharing cultures and food... languages... I'm incredibly open and hope to incorporate that into this site.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couch surfing for years, part from simply word of mouth and meeting friends, part from this website.

Music, Movies, and Books

To be discussed... it's too vast! Kerouac leads the list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month in Erzeberge area of Germany in 2009, moved to France from 2010-2013, been all across my beautiful country, I've been friends with: Australians, Germans, French, briefly someone from the Czech… and some wonderful Americans. The most amazing thing I've ever done is a 4 day backpacking hike. Loved it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my Southern culinary roots, my singing, my love for literature and I am a great buddy to play MST3K (google it if you don't know it) with crappy movies. I also can help with your French... :)!
