About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make friends, play nice

ABOUT ME

My name is Cameron, I'm 19, and I love dance, music, and exploring new places. People are all so strange, I love em'

PHILOSOPHY

Once we begin to accept and respect one another we'll find that it's easier for others to accept and respect us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping I'll be able to host people in the near future, that would be so fly. For now I can only surf unfortunately.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a couchsurfing newbie but I'm polite, respectful, and I put others needs before my own. Also I've successfully lived inside of a warehouse with no running water so I am not picky.

Interests

I love dance and music, but I'm down for pretty much any activity. The sea refuses no river.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: anything by Victor Hugo or John Steinbeck, Zombie Survival Guide, Catch-22, Catcher in the Rye, The Watchmen, I Am Legend

Music: J-Dilla, Talib Kweli, Common, Gorillaz, The Decemberists, Chiddy Bang, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, Black Moth Super Rainbow

Movies: Anything by Quentin Tarantino or Wes Anderson, Waking Life, old school kung-fu flicks with horrible dubs

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I distinctly remember the first time ever I went skiing, years ago. My favorite memory was sitting on the lift by myself as it was slowly creeping up the mountain. I couldn't see the lift behind or ahead of me because it was snowing so hard and there was complete silence. For what might have been 20 minutes it was just me and my thoughts trapped in a perfect snow globe floating above this mountain.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could try to teach some basic Modern and Hip-Hop techniques. It's good exercise and it makes you more aware of your body, that thing you use every day to do awesome stuff. I think it'd be cool to learn coding, film/cinematography stuff, and any form of dance. Also how to cook.
