I'm currently living/working in Hong Kong after travelling around the world for 15 months.

ABOUT ME

I spent 16 years working in both SMB and large corporate sales environments and decided that my 3 weeks of vacation each year wasn't enough time to see all the things in the world that I wanted to see. I quit my job, sold my house and most of my belongings and set out to do some traveling in May of 2013. After 15 months on the road I ended up accepting a job in Hong Kong working for a London based real estate agency.

PHILOSOPHY

As Mark Twain once wrote... "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I was traveling I met up with people in various places around the world. I spent time in many countries sleeping on friends couches and attending impromptu events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't much any official couchsurfing through the website but I have spend many a night on a friend or extended family members couch/guest room while traveling. I also spent a month using a friends guest room as a home base before leaving the US.

Interests

Travel, photography, art, NHL Hockey (Go Canes), NFL Football (Go Niners), music (a huge variety), hiking/camping, being on the water and reading. I also love frequenting good locally owned places to eat.
