ABOUT ME

All about me in one small text box?
Through all I've experienced in my short 25 years on this planet, i want to say I've been through a series of Selves and personal transformations. I carry all these Selves are with me, as each of them have their own strengths (and weaknesses). My latest self is one I'll describe Ina few terms or labels: vegan, chef, food alchemist, runner, traveler, giver. All of these new additions to my whole Self, especially the last one, have transformed and opened my life up in more ways then I could've imagined. I'm continuing to unlock and uncover new discoveries, and new parts of myself, and making new connections. It's a daily process.

Through Couch surfing, I want to continue giving, receiving, in the spirit of gratitude, human fellowship, and connection, continue to deepen myself, while serving others in the ways I can. I would love to meet each and every one of you who has checked my profile, as you too have a unique set of gifts to offer this world

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Oregon for a week and had a blast. I opened my couch to surfers in Charlottesville, but had no guests. That's about it, but am ready for more, new experiences

Interests

FOOD! and all aspects of it. Cooking, baking, blending, concocting, experimenting with new foods and flavors. Naturally, I'm also into Health, Nutrition, running, hiking. Ive found a passion as a trail runner, and really love all forms of movement. I also love to DANCE ecstatically. It frees the spirit like no other activity does. I'm also into all the sciences, physics, biology, chemistry, geology, love them all.

I also love traveling and exploring new places, it's a high like no other.

Oh, and also taking care of myself by exercising and eating well. Including food, teas, herbs, plant medicines, cooking, yoga, running, tai chi, dancing

Books...I'm currently enjoying Eat and Run, by Scott Jurek, the vegan, ultra marathon runner. He has been an inspiration and a role model for me and who I've become.

Movies...Waking Life blew me away, and Zeitgeist (time to wake up, people!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook, bake, and prepare food in any shape, form, or fashion. I would love to cook a shared meal with anyone kind enough to accept me into their home, or even bake my vegan-gf muffin creations, free of charge, I'll provide the ingredients, all I need is a kitchen. (the blueberry lemon poppyseed and piña colada muffins are cosmically delicious : ) )
