ABOUT ME

I have lived in many places around the USA, including Iowa, Minnesota, Florida, Washington state, North Dakota, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona. I lived in Spain for 4 months out of the six as I traveled Europe. People have taken me into their homes more times than I can count. I have met wonderful people over the years. I love to travel. I will go anywhere at anytime and most if not all the time I travel solo. I love to just pick up and go with not a plan in the mix. I think that you meet more people traveling solo because it makes you have to start up a conversation. If you knew me you would not find starting up a conversation very shocking. :) I love life and try to keep positive as much as I can. Most of the time it works but not everyone is perfectly happy all of the time.

PHILOSOPHY

It takes both rain and sunshine to make a rainbow.

You can make change from a dollar, but you have to be willing to break that dollar to make the change.

Traveling is like a book, those whom have never traveled read only the first page.

Disclosure: I have an extremely hard time with perfumes, especially lady's perfume. I please ask that there is no perfume worn at my house or under the night sky you go!! :) I also believe in "leave it better than when you arrived". Same as camping! We are all in this together!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a Nigerian family in Italy. I stayed with a Brazilian family in Brazil. Most of the time I have stayed in hostels. I like the more personal interaction staying in hostels rather than a hotel. I want to couch surf more however I have only couch surfed a few times one was in Seoul, South Korea and it was amazing. I have hosted many couch surfers and am eager to host for as many as I have requests! Bring it on!

Zainteresowania

I love to play sports. Going out for a run sounds to me like running into a field bomb
. I would rather get the adrenaline rush of skiing, skydiving, hiking, rollerblading, and the list could go on and on...just don't ask to go for a run! I love to go to hot spring hopping and I am surrounded by them in the mountains. I love working with my hands. I love to build stuff and you will see that a corner of my living room sometimes becomes my wood shop in the winter.

Country baby!! I admit it I am a little bit of a country bumpkin....but I do love all kinds of music! Ok, fine, I will admit that Mozart classical styles and heavy rap I will run from.

Foz du Iguacu, natural hot spring hopping, travel travel travel.....from north to south vietnam!! 6 months backpacking Europe, one month in Brazil, Scotland and Ireland!

I love to learn. I learn by doing. You can show me all you want but unless I do it myself I never learn. Everyone learns differently and what you learned from the same thing I watched/did/experienced and what I learned may be two completely different things. This is why I believe in talking about all different areas of life and keeping an open mind. Closing a mind with one set idea makes learning extremely difficult!
