About Me
Hello *shakes hand*! I work remotely as a web developer. In June 2021, I set an ambitious goal to go to all 50 states in the US in one year. When I travel, I generally favor big cities-- I feel there's just more to do in cities. I'm not much of a camper, hiker, etc. When I'm not traveling, I also play guitar and sing in a band.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To stay with new people I hope become new friends as I tour from city to city. In exchange for a couch, bed, or even floor, I want to provide your hospitable soul with something you value in return.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: I prefer artists from the 60's, early 90's, and many indie artists from the 2010's.
MOVIES: Lost in Translation is my all-time favorite. I'm a big of "golden era of Hollywood films" (e.g. Casablanca, Singin' in the Rain, Breakfast at Tiffany's)
TELEVISION: Downtown Abbey, Frasier, Mad Men, Seinfeld
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2015, sold my car and most of what I owned, moved more than 2,500 miles across the country with no job lined up, and within 2 weeks, acquired a full time job and a place to live.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach guitar, math (was a math major), and some programming languages.
For learning, I would like to obtain fluency in Spanish. Even if your Spanish is as bad as mine, having someone to practice with would be mutually beneficial!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Can fix your computer(s), pet and/or child sitting.
I love a good conversation. I can keep you company quite easily.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, United States
