i love traveling. i love the chance to see new trees i have never seen before, meet people with perspectives different from my own, and take in the visual splendor that is this beautiful planet. i love to hike and explore new places with my dog, smokey. i love canoeing and kayaking. i'm never without my camera. i enjoy philosophical discussions, i'm opinionated and articulate when expressing myself. i'm a tree lover. i can talk all day about the trees around middle tennessee. i'm a history buff. i like learning about anything and everything. i want to travel to the moon someday. i love coffee and tea. i love most kinds of music and am open to hearing new sounds.

i'm mainly a welcoming person. i would love to meet people visiting nashville from other parts of the the country/world. i'd like the opportunity to give tours and show off the middle tennessee area. i'm well versed in hiking trails and canoeing/boating stuff. mainly, i just enjoy spending time with travelers like myself. people who have seen more than just there backyard. i'm into the local art, live music, and outdoor scene. would enjoy sharing nashville's secrets with other travelers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i hiked a 45 mile portion of the pacific crest trail in oregon. we saw amazing forests, tons of biting black flies, and experienced true wilderness. i had to rely on myself for everything. i came out of there with new confidence in myself and my friends who were with me.

Teach, Learn, Share

i would love to share my knowledge of outdoor activities in the nashville area. i grew up here. i canoe, hike, camp, and swim nashville. so, just ask. i'd like to learn from you about your culture, your countries history, and language. maybe we could share a dinner where you cook something that you like back home and i cook something that i like.
