About Me
CURRENT MISSION
The Family Without Borders: for all who believe that WANT means CAN. And that having a baby widens your life, not narrows it, like travelling!
ABOUT ME
# What to do with your life when your small daughter turns 6 months? And what when another one? ;))
------------------------
We decided to continue our lives the way we have always dreamt about. Mama: Polish journalist and papa: German photographer will take small Hanna, and then small Mila to see the world!
A six month long trips, by car, through many many countries: Visiting friends/journalists, big and tiny villages, talking with hundreds of men and women with different ethnic backgrounds. Listening to their stories and reporting about them.
About Europe, Caucasus, Balkans, Central America, Pacific Islands...
And our blog: http://thefamilywithoutborders.com/ got a title of blog of a year 2011 of National Geographic and is one of the most influential blogs of Poland.
And sometimes we are at home;)
But we live with few more people (there are two Greek guys, one German girl and one refugee from Syria), so there is usually quite crowded. We plus family visiting, plus friends, and friends of friends, or the readers of our blog... But maybe you will get lucky!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
we host, we talk, we show around
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
we were already couchsurfing, before couchsurfing existed! and our flat is usually full of couchsurfers, couchsurfingeventparticipants even though TheFamilyWithoutBorders' profile was not existing yet.
Interests
What we like and get inspired from are people. Probably that is why we were traveling, that is why we want to host people. Nothing more interesting than stories from different corners of the world, not read in the book, but heard while drinking wine or tea. Photography, human rights, social topics - this is still interesting and give topics for evenings.
