About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world and meet as many people as possible

ABOUT ME

Hey everyone! I graduated from the University of New Mexico with my bachelors degree in exercise science. I currently live in Montreal. I've lived in La Rochelle, France and in Paris and I've traveled all over Europe, sometimes with Couchsurfing and sometimes without. I love Couchsurfing because I've met some great friends that I still keep in touch with years later. It's an awesome experience and I can't wait to continue doing it!

I'm a fitness creator on social media and digital marketing professional, so if you want to see a bit of what I do: https://instagram.com/thefitadam

PHILOSOPHY

I live to learn, discover new things and meet interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've Couchsurfed about 10 times, and I've loved every one of them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I Couchsurfed in Brussels, Oslo, Boston, Nashville, New Orleans, Playa Del Carmen, and also in Zurich. I still keep in touch with the guy I stayed with in Brussels over a year later, and he's one of my good friends.

Interests

I love music festivals, outdoor events, hiking, nature, cool food that I can't find just anywhere, local craft beer, weightlifting, nutrition, live music, and learning about the history and culture in a new place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Harry Potter, foreign films, and I like almost all genres of music, but mostly EDM, pop, rock, and country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done so far was study abroad in Europe. I had the opportunity to travel to 13 countries, and I saw so many things that most people never see in their lifetime. I saw Tom Hanks filming Angels and Demons in Rome by accident, which was amazing to me because I was only 17. I've been to the Heineken factory in Amsterdam and the Guinness factory in Dublin, and I saw the David in Florence. I've also eaten dinner at the top of the Eiffel Tower and seen a view of Prague at night from the top of Prague castle. In Barcelona, I saw all of Gaudi's architecture and in Amsterdam I visited the Anne Frank house. I also watched the snow start to fall on the statues in a park in Norway right at midnight on New Year's Eve, and I took speed boats around to the different islands in Croatia with my friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always eager to learn more about other countries and their foreign policies, food, culture, thoughts, and practices. I also really like speaking other languages and talking about my own country! I've also been an English tutor in France and I'm currently a French tutor in the US!
