ABOUT ME

Austin, Texas home-grown and experienced musician, waiting to see the rest of this wonderful world. I began performing live music at 14. Meeting and learning from new people is always an illuminating experience. If you we're to see me on the street then I'd hope for a chance to say "Hello."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted several groups of friends from Houston, Texas, a trio from L.A., and many friends from Austin.
Since October 31st, 2010 I've traveled thirty states of the U.S.. Stayed with Michelle Hudson, Andrew Henderson, also visited Superhappyfunland in Houston, Texas. Stayed at the New Orleans Arthouse one several occasions, one the tip of the french quarter. Hitchhiked to Chattanooga, Tennessee where we stayed with Mallory and April. CSed in Savannah, Georgia with Jennifer Horton and Alec of the Pony Pen.
Saw snow and met the wonderful Liz Flickinger in Asheville, NC. Recaptured faith in New York with Juen R. Traveled for three days across the U.S. in a six man convoy, touring the scenic empty quarter. Hitchhiked south on highway I-5 from Seattle, OR to L.A., then home to the great state of Texas. I've also visted Chicago and it's many pizza joints.

movies- The Science of Sleep, Waking Life, and Dark City. Books- The Idlewild series by Nick Sagan, Einstein's Dreams, and StarGirl. the clockwork universe. Music of all sorts!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My heart broke open when I saw one of the five remaining Gutenberg bibles in an Austin museum. The rolling foothills of Chattanooga. The dreamland tree house and Mississippi sunrise in 'Nawlins. Full moon east to west coast drive from Washington D.C. to Seattle, Washington. The vast snowy wonderland also known as Oregon. Traveled the west coast and drove through the west Texas desert. 28 states in 11 weeks. My nephew laughing at me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Basic music theory on guitar and bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals. Cooking pancakes, trying to build treehouses, busking the streets!
